The order follows what is published, not what a sale pays
Commission has no say in where anything ranks. When the mid-priced compressor is the sensible buy because a three-liter tank means the motor runs a fifth of the time, the page says so plainly — and when a dearer single-blade nipper earns its cost because it shears flush and leaves nothing to sand, the page explains exactly that.

Every figure in the unit its own maker printed
A scale written as the ratio it is rather than as a size; a parts count kept beside the fact that two hundred of them may be identical track links; a nozzle diameter in millimeters kept beside the pressure it works at, because one without the other says nothing; an age mark named as the toy-safety mention it is, not as a difficulty grade. Each appears in the maker’s unit with its source named. A figure no maker published is marked as missing, never filled in.
