One job at a time, in the order each step depends on the last
Each page takes one job from the opening move to the last check, and names the step everything after it depends on. A product is named only where the job genuinely needs one — and more than one of these ends by telling you to buy nothing, because laying a gloss coat before the decal touches the paint changes more than most purchases could. Where the answer depends on the plastic in front of you, on the hazard label of a classified product or on a limit the maker sets, the page hands over to the documentation and to that label instead of paraphrasing either.
